It's my fav ball when i get enough oil to throw it on. At the moment i dont knwo the sepcs, i would have to go get the ball to know them. But it goes pretty long and then just comes like a mofo. Once you hit the pocket nothing is left behind.

I think this is an awsome ball, Ive had mine for 3 three weeks now.
like dirtbike said mine too go's long and comes in strong but thats just the way I have it drilled, pin beside ring finger and cg stacked 3inch below and slightly kicked out, had to have a weight hole.
I have found out that I can use this ball even on med oil real well.
when the power deisel hits the pocket it destroys the rack.
also this ball you can tune the coverstock depending on the conditions you are on.
Hope this helps
Feel free to compare your results with me if you want

Sheab,
Have you ever even thrown this ball? If not then shut the f*ck up! Just because you couldn't average more than 175 with your Blade Pearl only means one thing- YOU suck, not the ball. I avg. 215 with my Blade Pearl over a full season.
Daytonstroker, let us all know your opinion of your Power Diesel once you get it. Then, if you don't like the ball, write a review on it and post it. Don't go bashing an entire company because you didn't like ONE ball. That's not what this forum is about. If Sheab doesn't even know that Hammer and Ebonite are one and the same, yet he throws Ebonite and bashes Hammer, only goes to show his ignorance. Listen to people who know what they are talking about.
I don't have the Power Diesel, but I do have the Diesel solid and the Diesel Particle Pearl. Both balls work great for me. Get good length with them and plenty of hit when thrown on any oil. Easy to read breakpoint also. I would recommend the Diesel line to anyone looking for an oil ball. Good luck with yours.

Unfortunately, I have to say I was a little disappointed with mine.  It seems to go a little too long for me, and doesn't have the recovery that I wanted, makes sense, since it is a pearl particle, but I haven't had the success some others have had.  I've had a couple of occassions when it has worked real well, a 279 here or there, but I have trouble being consistent with it.  Hope yours works for you.

Ball was ok but didn't give me the recovery i was looking for. That core system has not done much for me. The are very rolly for my style and are great if i get patterns where you play at the pocket not away from it. I did actually like it on longer sport patterns with med-volumes. I think it would be a great ball for clean backends with good head oil. Pay attention to cover though. Local shop drilled out quite a few and got some cracked covers back in short time. Only a few but enough to note.

Ok now I have finally received my Power Diesel, went with a 15# and drilled it up Med Rg-Strong Layout on spec sheet with a balance hole.  Took it out for 3-game practice set.  Shot a decent 600+ with a high game of 231.  Ball reacts very well for me, but I have to be flawless in my delivery (I tend to rush the line) or I send it right through the nose for a nasty split.  Experimented with a few different lines at various speeds and releases.  All in all I was satisfied with this ball, as I am satisfied with all my Hammer equipment!!!!!

I almost forgot to add an update!!!!  Last week in league darn near shot my 1st 300 with this.  Had front 5, and in the 6th frame sent it threw the nose leaving the big four, missed all then proceeded to take it off sheet for 258.  For me just getting 11 x's was a high!!!!!
