Saw Blade vs Sharp Blade vs Sling Blade

I own a Sharp Blade and was looking for a ball to use when the lanes are dry because the Sharp blade will not work well.  Which of the blade series would fill this hole for me?  The numbers seem to say that the saw blade is stronger than the sharp blade and the sling blade is comparable to the sharp blade.

Never owned the Saw Blade, but my understanding is that it is a more aggressive ball than the Sharp Blade.

I did own a Sharp Blade and currently throw the Sling Blade.  The Sharp Blade did exactly as it was advertised:  it rolled in the mid-lane and was very, very controllable.  Plus it hit well.  But, I agree with you, it isn't good in the dry:  hook, set, and quit.

I have a Sling Blade drilled weak and it is my "go to" ball when the lanes are drying and I need something to get down the lane.  Not good on completely fried lanes but on tougher conditions and late shifts in tournaments, it is my ball.

Remember the Sharp Blade is Particle and the Saw is particle pearl and the sling is reactive. So particle and the particle pearl don't like the dry very well, so the sling blade is a better choice in the dry .

sling blade is no where near the sharp blade.  It is definately for dry conditions.  I have mine drilled with pin on the axis and it is the smoothest longest ball in my bag and it brought back the rail to me if i want even on toast.  Havent been able to play the rail in 8 years.

I used a Sling Blade all of last year and it is perfect for down and in shots on fresh patterns and does very well on dry lanes.  

The Saw Blade has the new Cut Throat particle coverstock and it's core is the blade core with an added flip block for more differential.  

For dry lanes, I'd go with the Sling Blade.
