I've had mine since March and have thrown it a bunch and haven't had any issues whatsoever with it.

Doesn't Hammer offer a three year warranty on that ball?

I have seen several with the bridge cracked.Fairly wide bridges. Not sure warranty covers that. Some say thats from drilling to fast or dull drill bit.Even have heard that the glue can cause that.Who knows what causes it.Cracked bridges usually wont crack around the ball.I just keep striking and not worry about it.

Balls crack regardless of brand. There is nothing particular about the Scandal.

Repairing a cracked bridge is no big deal. It's not worth the effort to chase down a warranty replacement.

It probably isn't even worth the time and hassle of getting a cracked bridge repaired (unless the bridge section totally disintegrates and falls out.)  I have had balls where the bridge cracked and I never even bothered getting it fixed.  It may visually be displeasing to see the crack, but if you bowl a lot you will probably replace the ball well before the cracked bridge needs attention.

I've had mine for a few months now, no sign of cracking yet.
And I've slammed the ball into the ground near me feet a few times too, for some reason :P
It has bounced too a few times.
Only tearing on the ball is from the stupid shit machinery at the alleys we bowl at. Like burn marks.
Most used:
Motiv Venom Shock (14)
DV8 Grudge Hybrid (14)
Hammer Scandal (14)
DV8 Freakshow (14)

Sometimes.
C300 Swerve (14)
Motiv Jackal LE (14)

Retired:
Roto Grip Sinister (13)
Motiv Jackal (14)

Given to a no-thumber in the club:
Brunswick T-zone (13)

Might stick with Motiv from now on.
