Can someone please breakdown the differences between these 2 balls?

The Swagga is a much earlier and smoother reaction. The Taboo is more downlane with a more flippy reaction.

I agree with Hammer Tech. I drilled up a Taboo on Monday the exact same layout as my Swagga.

I threw both in my league which we bowl on the USBC White Pattern. The Swagga was early and

smooth down lane whereas the Taboo was clean through the front and more angular down lane. I am very impress with the Taboo's motion down lane.

He is spot on with that assessment... you couldnt go wrong with either though to be honest.... both of them are monsters.. the taboo did have a bit more continuation as well at the pin deck..

Thanks for the assessment. I heard they were actually the same ball. The Swagga was just limited edition for the USBC.

just talked to jeff at Hammer and he said the Swagga is a solid!!! just incase you needed to know

Just contacted Jeff Ussery and he said it's a Hybrid. Confirmed.

Swagga is a "Level 2 Reactive". In Hammer parlance it's 2/3 pearl and 1/3 solid, according to the August issue of BTM, same as the Plague's coverstock.

I am also looking at purchasing one of these balls . Right now i carry a 158 avg throwing a raging inferno with a down and in pattern. I throw a 16 lbs ball but some of my friends tell me i need to drop down a pound or two so i can get more control and speed. Sorry about the lack of technical wording as most of it confuses me but any and all advise will be very much appreciated . thank you

If you are looking to replace the Raging Inferno you should probably go with the Swagga if you can still find one. The Raging Inferno was a particle ball so it was much smoother of a motion. The Swagga will be similar to the Raging but you will see more motion downlane simply because there isn't any particle and the Black Widow core. Hope this helps
