The Bite...
« on: June 07, 2008, 02:24:00 PM »
I punched up a new Bite, laid it out 5" pin to pap, mass bias is at a 55° angle (3 3/4" from my pap) pin down with a small weight hole. We also polished it up.

I don't have much to say on the ball yet, as I have been working on different parts of my approach when I got to use it but from a few shots I really watched the reaction it was very sweet. It gave me a midland read, and a strong, but not overly angular turn and really continued through the back part of the lane.

The ball seems from the limited use that it will in fact fit the hole as my versatile medium oil ball that is a notch below my cell, giving me less overall reaction, but more angle on the back part of the lane.

Hmm, does it work okay with the polish?  Mine gets good length and crazy back end in the OOB surface.

Well it wasn't crazy on the backend, it was strong but not overly angular. With my ball speed I normally have to adjust surface, it could very well be why it reacts as it does for me, but it also is pin down, and has a strong MB placement with a strongly located weight hole, numerous factors contribute to the reaction.

I will get some more games on it in the next week and will try like hell to get some video of it.
