The Doom

So i've had my new Doom a few weeks now and I'm really liking it. Pin is 5 1/4" from my axis, above the bridge, CG is kicked half inch right of grip center, no weight hole box finish.

It is fairly long, fairly strong, but very controllable for me.

In my Highschool tourney I used it the last 5 in the 6 game set and had 247,213,212,188,202 and if I wouldn't have been stubborn and fired an embarrassing 148 in the first match trying to get the BWP to work I would have won the individuals, instead I was the first loser (2nd place). This is the first time i've placed in a High School tournament and it was a blast, as a team though we fell a little short but finished third and had fun, and it was our best team finish this year so were looking to build on it.

Great shooting! I think a lot of us go through a little bit of stubborn-ness when it comes to choosing which ball to throw. My problem is something called..."new-ball-itis." If i've got a new ball, and even if i know i should throw something else...the new ball it is. oh well. live and learn.

Keep up the great shooting! And i'm glad you like the doom!

Great shooting bud.  The Doom is a great pearl ball.  I really had a lot of success using mine.  The Doom is what got me into rolling Hammer equipment  again!

Nice work mate.  I've been using my No Mercy with great success over the last few months, but decided to dust off the Doom the other night and give it a run.  Bowled a 720 series with it (247, 226, 247 - which should have been more except for a split in the 10th frame of the 2nd game).  I'd forgotten how good a ball it is, great carry, tremendous hit and very predictable reaction, even as the lanes broke down.

I'm in the process of updating my equipment, but the Doom will definitely be staying on for a while longer yet, and combined with the No Mercy alone, i can cover a lot of different lane conditions.
