Too add a Doom or Not to add a doom
« on: March 27, 2006, 10:11:53 AM »
ladies and gents that's the question. I won the one and big one, gotta big deal, and overtime, and tropical storm.

Would it be beneficial to me to add a doom hammer. Please respond honestly and quickly if possible, but i really need to know.

Thanks in advance and i appreciate it very much.

It will give you a different look, but IMO, you have as much covered as possible.

Unless you plan to hit the road for tournaments...then, maybe.

This is how I would rank your balls.
BIG ONE
ONE
BIG DEAL
Overtime
DOOM
Tropical Storm

I believe you may be bowling for ISU.  If this is the case, then I believe that you need something in between the OT and whatever that last ball is (TS)   From what little I know of S products, that is a very weak ball.   I would believe that to be your light/dry ball.   The DOOM would fit abouve that and below the BIG DEAL.  The DOOM would appear to be a great addition to your arsenal.

Redbird, I think you have enough covered with what you have.  Too much choice can be a bad thing, if you ask me.  What's your average at now, if I may ask?

Lol i was waiting for that.
On monday it's a 9pin no tap league and the wednesday night is regular league (sometimes we get sport shots sometimes we get modified house shots.) my average jus for this semester though is 196 but the way it's set up is our average from last semester carries over.

Well, at least it's that, and not that you're that inconsistent to be 50 pins lower from one league to the next!

Just DO IT... The Doom is an awesome ball. I think it fits into just about any arsenal. IMHO, there is always room for one of the versatile balls. I have seen plenty of people throw it (present company included) and I have not seen it look bad off of anyone's hand. ...My 2 cents.

The Doom is a flat out awesome ball.  You will find that it can cover a wide amount of conditions if you don't mind moving your feet and target.

My teammate on my league uses a tropical storm.  It's a decent ball for med to light oil but not in the same league as the Doom.  The Doom flat out hits better.  Plus the back end on the Doom is a lot more.

The Raw Hammer Doom is the best reactive pearl I have ever seen or owned.

i think u all have made me a believer. is 95 bucks a good price. i only pay 15 dollars for drilling w/ everything included so the total to get ball and drilled would be $110.
