Uusally bowlers like to try bowling balls on many different conditions before posting a review.  If you only used the ball on one condition then a review wouldn't be of much use.

I have a TOXIC and can give you some of my thoughts about the ball if you wish.  Are you looking into getting the ball?

Agree with chitown about the mulit-conditions before a good review can be written. Another reason might be, some have written reviews and others on here only slammed them for what they wrote. It's hard to write a review that gives every aspect of ball and reaction on different condition without someone calling you an idiot for what your thoughts are. That's life, I guess.

i just happen to be bowling on a pair today with a guy using a toxicand it is a good looking ball. we were bowling on new proanvil lanes with a 38 ft. xmas tree and a wall outside 10. the lanes werent bad but not fresh. the ball made a decent move to the pocket as long as he didnt give it too much room to the right. He was standing about 18 and bellying the ball to five. as long as he hit his mark the ball came screaming back and the hit was as hard as anything you would want to throw. Held line good with out much over reaction and carry was god even on off pocket or high hits. looks to me to be a good ball for med to med light conditions. I was playing my hercules from about 5 boards leftof where he was with good success, and my no mercy was about 7 boards left of that swinging to anywhere right of 10. My no mercy is at a fresh 1000 grit just recently rejuvenated.Hope this helps.

this ball is really sweet! When I throw it I get a kind of angular arc to it

well... i dont know exactly what to say in reviews, but i can say it is probably one of the most versitile balls out there. i have used it on many college tournament shots as well as many house shots. it works real well and really reliable.

My take on this ball (i have a few sets on it now) is the reaction is ALL backend for me...super clean in the heads and the mids, looks like it could go for miles, but as soon as it senses friction it JUMPS left...no arcing about it for me...

I dont know what you guys think but the easier the shot the better the ball is...i want to try it on some tough stuff, but i can imagine the drastic transition when it hits dry will be too unpredictable on the tough stuff...

maybe with a different drilling or surface prep (it is currently OOB) it would be a different story

you can view the ball here

This describes mine to a tee.  It is all about the length and back end.  Mine has almost zero mid-lane read and a big flip on the back end.

Your also right about the conditions this ball is best used on.  I bowl on tough conditions every week in my league(no walled up china shots there).  The TOXIC sits in my bag most of the time at league.  It's way to hard to control on the tough patterns because of how strong it is when it hit's friction.

Now on the easier house shots I practice on this ball works good.  If you have a lot of miss area it performs well and hits hard.  If you bowl in tourney's, sport or tough lane conditions leagues then this is not the ball to use.

Thanks so much for your posted reviews on here guys! Much apprieciated.  I know how tough it is to get yourself to post a review on here because no matter what you do and say, its BASHING TIME!~  Well, I have one on the way from someone on here and Im very excited to try it out! Im really hoping that is goes long and has a skid flip look to it.  I believe that its drilled pin just above ring and slightly right.  Im not sure about the CG or PAP.

Toxic is the biggest backend ball that hammer has ever made. If you want strong backend drill this ball. Very clean through the fronts and saves all the energy for the back. Hammer rules.

The TOXIC has a huge back end flip.  Is it the biggest back end ball Hammer has ever made?  I don't think so.  I think it has the biggest flip reaction.  For me back end reaction would be amount of boards covered in the back end.  I feel that the BW and NM can cover more boards on the correct lane patterns.
