Toxic vs Psycho
« on: November 03, 2008, 05:33:51 AM »
To those who have thrown both, how does the Toxic compare to the Psycho as far as reaction on the same shot. Thanks for any help.

Are you looking for something similar to the toxic or do you have one and want a psycho as well?

Psycho hooks more overall, and is earlier and a little smoother. They actually would make a pretty good 1-2 punch. Even though it's a pearl, they Psycho almost acts like a solid version of the Toxic.

On a seperate note, the Psycho is probably the best mid-priced ball I've thrown. The hit and carry is even better than I expected. Also-I've got probably 200 games on mine and haven't lost 1 board of reaction. Very durable.

I own both and I agree with what Matt wrote. I've since made some coverstock adjustments to get a bit more seperation between the two. The Toxic is more skid/flippy than the Psycho, but I like the Psycho's motion more.

I was just going to say if you wanted something similar to the toxic the emerald vibe has the same cover and pretty similar motion down the lane.
