Vicious advice
« on: October 22, 2003, 05:40:10 AM »
At the begining of this season I went back to Hammer with the Vicious reactive ball.  I bowl in a 9:00 league and my first game is always great, but by the second game the oil is gone.  so I was looking for a ball for this condition, but wanted to stay close to the same ball.  I thought about the pearl version but I can't compare the two as Hammer changed thier rating scale and don't have the non pearl on thier site anymore.

Will the Vicious Reactive Pearl go a little longer in the dry?  I only need a couple of inches.  I would like to stay with the Hammer Vicious line.
Thankyou in advance,
Ravenworx

Yes this ball will go a few inches longer in the dry, but it also could be stronger than what you're looking for.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!

Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.

I am thinking of getting the Pearl and seeing which one Pearl/non-pearl works better in the first game, then polishing the other one.  I would like to keep the same skid/flip transition which I believe comes from the Weight block balance.  Just trying to get some more length which I believe is what the coverstock controls.  Feel free to correct me if I  am wrong.
TIA,
