What ball is similar to the Hammer Blade Pearl
« on: May 07, 2009, 04:37:10 PM »
I love the Hammer Blade pearls but I doubt I will ever find a new one.  So what ball/balls in the Hammer line is similar to the Blade Pearls?  I have thrown the Cherry Vibe and wasn't a big fan of it.  Thanks.

The Hot Sauce Pearl is probably as close as you will get. It will give you a stronger but somewhat similar reaction. The top of the core has been cut off to lower the RG value with the pancake type flip block still in place. The newer coverstock formulation will be stronger than your Blade. Check out the core configurations with the modification to the Hot Sauce.

Psycho or Toxic if you can find one, there's no need to go as strong as the Hot Sauce.

Also, the Emerald Vibe was a much more angular piece than the Cherry Vibe. It might be more what you're looking for than even the Psycho.
