What To Throw?
« on: June 11, 2009, 05:43:37 PM »

Hello All,

After 4 years off i have finally gotten back on the lane and i must say it feels better then ever. Now im trying to put together a new arsenal. I have a Hammer Saw Blade and an Anger. I want to keep this down to 4 balls and keep it Hammer. Im most likely going to drill up a Sling Blade for those light conditions. What i have been confused on is to get something like a Psycho to sort of match up with my Saw Blade just with a different layout and have a my Anger be my heavy oil ball. Now My Anger does hook a ton but i have not been on a freshly oiled lane with it, I should be hooking on a burned up house shot. The other way im looking  at it is Sling Blade - Light Oil Saw Blade - Medium Oil Anger - Med to Heavy and then something to fight the floods. I was thinking the bite with an aggressive layout and a low grit. So im just basically looking for that 4th ball. Ill appreciate all feedback Thank You

Haven't yet talked to some people and they said the house gets sloppy and it differs from week to week

the sauce is the ball right now for the heavier patterns but i think it crosses into medium-heavy oil as well and thats a plus... (not a ball that never comes out of the bag)

OR

the black widow sting at OOB or 1000 abralon drilled around 4 x 4 should work
