What would compliment a BWS
« on: April 23, 2008, 04:01:20 PM »
I was considering getting rid of my BWS and buying 2 new balls before the PBA Experience league starts in a couple weeks.

Then I balanced my checkbook.

Now, I just need to know what ball to add to my roller bag to help out when the BWS isn't appropriate. (other than my spare ball obviously)

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

Are you looking for something more overall or less overall than the solid? Also, what kind of a shape are you looking for? arcy? skid-flippy?

I'm thinking something more "arcy" and more tame than my BWS (which is drilled fairly tame with the pin under the bridge) I've never bowled on anything other than a THS pattern, so I kind of don't know what to expect.

On those PBA patterns you would want something that more predictable and do not over react in the back. The Gamebreaker oob surface is 2000 and is not a really aggressive ball with very smooth backend. If you change the surface to 4000 then it will be under the BWS. It's also more affordable than other balls that is similar like the Special Agent (which is stronger). Good luck.

Count me as the 2nd vote for the Blue Vibe. Take the cover down to about 1000 or 2000 to even out the reaction a little bit. You'll love it!
