Right now, the Black Widow without a doubt. I've been able to use it on a variety of surfaces, with different oiling patterns and make many hand release and speed adjustments to keep this ball in play for months.

NO MERCY!  This ball is like cheating!  It has a very strong arc that's easy to read!  This ball is a carry machine!

After a redrill I am on the No Mercy bandwagon now. Very nice ball.

Cool Carl....what did you do different on this one? Layout and present surface?

Pin under ring heart just left of thumb. MUCh more movement in the backend than the #1 layout. I have the current finish at 2000 abralon at HIGH SPEED on the spinner. Hits much better now and moves much better. It was far too "smooth" for me with the #1 layout.

I think for me.....   I really really like my Pain..  I really really like my Widow.. and I really really like my Doom..  Now, I use the Pain the most, widow the second most and doom the least... However, I just used the Doom for a tournament this past weekend..  Finally changed to the pain in the 8th game..   Averaged about 235 or so..  I think I was +156 for qualifying and +119 for the semis (both 4 game blocks)  Missed matchplay by 3 pins..  Tried the Total NV, but didn't like the reaction was getting at this particular house...  Used the widow for about 3 balls then put that away too, went too long..

I am very impressed by my black Pure Hammer - lucky find in my pro shop. A great ball for light conditions, very smooth, does not overreact whatever you do to it, might just hook a little too much/early when the lane is too scorched. My favorite light oil option in tournaments at the moment.
Not a high performance piece, but highly recommendable!

No Mercy, period.  My three highest sets the past two months have been with this ball (791, 794, 824) along with a city scratch all-events, singles, and team title.  Awesome ball!!!  Drilled left-handed, PIN to PAP 4 3/4" (above ring finger), with HART in first flare ring.  Nothing else comes close for me!!!

I've only had 3 Hammer balls. Vicious PP, BW and the Big Rig Diesel. I like the Big Rig the best. The ball flat out hooks but never over reacts and gets down the lane really well.

BW....very versatile, have it drilled somewhere between a #1 and #3 layout and it has a nice hard break into the pocket from a variety of lane conditions

I have just about everything in the current line and absolutely love the Hawgzilla.  This ball opens the lane up so much that not hitting the pocket has become difficult, and carry is impressive.  My second favorite is the Doom.

Out of my whole lineup, the two balls that see the most use are the Diesel Particle Pearl and the Faball Blue Hammer--and those are the only two Hammers in my 8 ball lineup at present.

Around here, the Black Widow is getting good word of mouth from the league bowlers and the pro shop operators.
