Why did P.A. leave Hammer?
« on: October 11, 2005, 01:28:42 AM »
If this has already been asked, please just give the link to the thread. My reason for asking? I was looking at last years US Open when he bowled against Mika and Chris, and he was using the Big Blue (if I remember correctly...) at the time. He did really good last year, so why wouldn't they want him on this year?

Why did Norm Duke leave AMF??

AMF300 decided not to pay the PBA fee that allows bowlers to use their equipment.

As far as the 2 big guys throwing AMF300 stuf last year, I know Rick Lawrence is with Columbia now as he came in the pro shop I use with 8 NIB balls last week.. I am not sure about Brian Voss.

Sorry, but this horse has decayed and cannot take any more beatings.

I'm not going to do the research to find it for you, but there are many threads under this topic and even over at www.pba.com that will get you all the info you need.

You have to do the work.

D/T

Take a visit to their forum.

Sorry to disappoint, but 'B' can't have all the POY's.

i asked him when he bowled a pro-am here and he said that they wanted to spread the sponser money over several players (my read on that is maybe less established up and coming bowlers). he was very nice and diplomatic when he answered me and was very complimentary about his time with hammer.

There was a snippet in BJI this month about P.A. signing a 1 tournament deal with D/T for the Japan Cup, and that they wanted to extend the deal beyond the tourney.  I haven't read anything else more than that.
