Will a Big Deal take polish well?
« on: February 14, 2008, 06:52:24 AM »
I don't even have the ball yet but I probably will in a few weeks. My question is will it perform if polished up. I have no need for a heavy oil ball at this time but would like to try to take it up to 4000 Abralon and polish it, then see what kind of reaction I'd get.

Would this be a waste of money?

How much are you getting it for?  I say if you want to get a ball, for a good price, and want to change the surface and try something new, what is it going to hurt?

If the price is right, go for it, if the 4000 and polish doesn't work, you can always take the polish off and do something else.  If the price is really high, I wouldn't...

Just my opinion....

Thanks. It would be probably an "average" price, not really good or bad.

Has anyone actually tried a high polish on one of these balls?
