Won an ASB contest...considering the BW
« on: September 27, 2006, 12:06:20 PM »
Especially since I've gone pretty much all Hammer.  I'm thinking about this one, but I wonder if it will overlap what I already have too much.

Vibe
Doom
Pain

You can check my profile for layouts and my specs.  I have been playing inside lines more, and if what I hear is right the BW might give me the angularity I've been craving.  Also, if you could recommend a layout, that'd be great.

I'm not a bowler, but I do play one on Ballreviews.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Selliger of the Southern Cal bowling league. I just got a report that a member of your team, Walter Solcheck, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true, it controveens a number of league bylaws.

I watched some one with a black widow that was drilled correctly playing the inside line last night and it was very impressive to say the least.mine did'nt work out, fubared the layout but it did hit hard and I liked the cover.I liked it so much that I'm getting a new one tomorrow.my old one is up for sale or trade if interested.

i love mine, its definatly not going to overlap. it will be stronger than the stuff you have now, i would recomend a similar layout to what i have, its amazing. it is one of the layouts that even with 500 grit surface still pops off the dry. its soooo smooth, but at the same time with 1000 grit its very angular... im kinda confuzed at the difference a surface ajust could make. it clears the heads very well too, the only time so far it hasnt been able to do it was not to suprising, as my OI didint either, witch had less surface so its understandable. i would deffenatly say go for it. you get it free right?  well i got mine for 110 done, and i would easily slap 200 on it if need be.

I play inside lines and I like this ball. I'll need a little more time throwing it before I can really make a good judgement about it but so far, I like what I see. I think it's a very good choice for inside lines.

I think it would definitely fit into your arsenal.  i drilled mine up like everyone else with pin over bridge and MB 60 degrees from center of span.  i adjusted my cover to 2000 abralon and it really took off.  I think I'm gonna try 1000 abralon today to get even more kick.  This ball will definitely help if you play inside lines.  Also, compared to my Pain, I think the Widow scatters the pins a little better.
