yet another widow
« on: November 28, 2006, 10:08:44 PM »
the widow I have is drilled skid/flip,I love the ball motion and hit with this ball BUT...I'm considering a second widow with the same reaction but ealier.what should I expect from the general drill, pin in center below fingers?I've tried cover adjustments but decided I like the first widow oob and use it when the lanes start to break down.

I would check with Chitown on this one.  I think he drills all of his Hammer equipment (Pain, Doom, BW, NM) with pin over bridge.  He seems very familiar with this layout.

the widow I have works when sanded in 500,1000 but I really like it oob and when the shot calls for it.if a pin below drilling would start up 3-5ft. Eli that would be perfect.I can then adjust the cover the way I like for the ball/shot.I had a widow that was drilled strong and it was too strong for what I wanted,I've learned to keep the hmb with in two inches right of the thumb.
