Lane 1 Chainsaw Massacre Red Death

Just received my tester from Lane 1 (thanks Richie and Chuck!!!).

Here's the poop....

Release date is in the 4 week range.

Same core as the Massacre with the high density flip block
Coverstock is a hybrid of the Pure Grip and a solid version of XPlosion
Surface is 4000 Abralon

RG numbers: max: 2.52, max: 2.55, diff: .038

This ball will roll a tad earlier than the Dynamo X-2 but not as early as the Dynamo and will outhook them both on the backend.

Great looking ball with fantastic logos.  I love hybrids...might actually have to try Lane #1 again.  (First ball several years ago was Uranium Solid which just didn't work out for me.)

Exactly my thoughts Alias and BK....I'll throw mine tonight and see what happens. I have been shying away from pearls lately due to the new lane finish. I am hoping this ball gives me what I am looking for.

They must be making some at 4k abralon and then some at 2k?  Data sheet says 2k and I can't imagine they would misprint that?

Some of the testers they made were at 4000 and some were at 2000. They chose the 2000 grit for production and forgot change the initial box labels.

The ball will come out at 2000 Abralon.

I am taking pre-orders now...the ball is a very nice piece.
