Enriched Uranium/Abralon
« on: March 07, 2008, 05:03:42 AM »
I usually don't change surfaces on my Lane #1 equipment that much.
Out of the box seems to always work fine and fits what I am looking for.
The weather may be a factor or the houses have decided to put more oil down.
The carry down is more of a problem now than before.
My question what grit of Abralon pads have worked the best for you on the Enriched Uranium. The ball has a label drilling and really likes lighter oil patterns with this drill. I want to make this ball more universal by making the midlane more responsive that it is.

If it were mine, I would just hit it lightly with a grey pad & try that first.

I love mine OOB, but if you find it not being able to handle the amount of oil you are seeing, I would think to try either 1000 or 2000 grit and go from there, but that is just my .02 cents.
