Seller claims that L#1 made a mistake in marking these "for display only".

I'm thinking..they didn't..

The ball has 5oz of top weight..

Not a mistake... The balls may have a long pin or very heavy top weight...

Global puts "for display only"  and usually GIVES them to pro shops to display..

And then they can special order the ball if they get any calls for it...

Seen this on AMF balls also...

Not a mistake, and they usually give them to the shops at NO CHARGE...

Another ebay liar...................

Should be simple enough for someone from Global 900 to verify.

You can drill a large hole through the CG and plug it with wizard or another very light ball plug..

The seller of these balls is our old buddy kidace1/ drillwizard so maybe a call to him will get the answers you seek.


As I see it the one 16# has 6 oz of top wt with a 4-5" pin and not to mention the ball's color is wayyyyy off from a regular Curve.

So marked as such due to the combination of color and specs would be my guess.

Dog, that''s not the point...Even though a few 18 -19 year olds I know who read your post are more then willing to take you on with their Mission''s...

The point is...

These balls, so I WAS TOLD... AND HAVE SEEN,  since I do have one on DISPLAY... Have either extremely long pins or extremely heavy top weights... and I WAS TOLD that they prefer that these balls in question were not sold... Because they made give bowlers a false read on how they perform...

So the idea to MARK them, "for display only"  and give them to some pro shops to display was born...

Hoping that these pro shops who might not be stocking some of these models, would get some bites on said models... and then place an order for them as needed...

So if the seller is indeed claiming that the "for display only"  on ALL of these balls is a mistake...Well then...

I believe that to be FALSE...

And See It As An Excuse to suck in some Sawheads...

Now wake up..............

And b-dog...You know no one in their right mine is going to travel more then a block to take you or anyone on... For what, $5 bucks a game..

come on already
