Vindication for my sawheaded friend!
« on: February 27, 2006, 01:20:02 PM »
Last night (2-27-06) a good friend of mine, and a dedicated saw user, shot his fourth ever 300 game, but to go along with it, shot his first ever 800, an 804 to be exact!

He was using a silver diamond that he acquired recently. This was also one of the only saws I ever was able to use.

I think if they would bring it out of retirement, they could probably still sell quite a few of them, at least to guys like me who loved them!

No vindication for Lane#1 balls is needed; they, like everyone else, make many excellent balls. They wouldn't stay in business or be expanding like they have otherwise.

I also loved the Silver Diamond. While I'd be inclined to buy a new one for a decent price, I doubt that Lane#1 would sell them for a decent price. I do wish someone, who wasn't trying to get rich quickly, would have Brunswick run off a bunch, like Bowlingball.com had them run off the Fire QUantum, but then Brunswick probably does not have the Diamond core in stock; Lane#1 would ahve to supply it.
