3 Ball arsenal
« on: May 13, 2007, 06:08:37 PM »
I want to build 3 ball arsenal from L/LM.
Would it be ok?
Heavy oil - Terminator
Medium oil - Black Pearl
Light oil - The buzz

Those are the three L/M balls that I have and they work for me but as always, YMMV.

"L/LM" has a few balls that could work in each of those categories/conditions ... so I believe that those three could very well work for you, depending upon the layouts that you choose. Good luck !!!

Hi Laybzz, won't the Terminator and Black Pearl be too close each other? I'm not a L/LM expert but considering the reviews and info from the website, how would you see a World Class/R instead in the Medium spot? If you had to build a 3 ball arsenal what would you choose and how would you drill them? Thanks.

Unless they pay me to throw there stuff or give it to me for free I don't see the point of having all one company.  Best 3 ball arsenal would be.
Heavy Oil Special Agent
Med Oil   Agent
Lght Oil  Orbit Xtreme

That's a good point Coleman, but my humble point of view here is that I have to spend my pesos carefully. I can't afford one ball a month (I wish I could). If I can get a 2-3 years, or even more durable ball for 150 at bowling.com, well, I think for me it's a good deal. In fact, I'm considering those Agents too for my next arsenal (seriously, thanks for your recommendation), but a friend of mine I think I have seen him for 2 years or something with a couple of L/LM and they work as new (or close). As you can see, I'm all about durability.

Terminator is a dual-load particle and an early roller .. while the BP is a particle pearl that goes long and has more backend; although the website states that the Terminator has the most "overall hook" (I believe), the BP, IMHO, has a bigger backend reaction off the pattern. Just my thoughts ...
Regarding the WCR, I never "matched up" well with the WC cores so I can't really coment son that issue and where it would "fit in".
