« on: November 06, 2007, 09:24:43 AM »
im thinking about pretty much having an "insect" aresenal. i allready have 2 buzzs. im thinking about getting a hornet for light oil and a sting for heavy oil and the 2 buzzs to fill inbetween. what are your thoughts?

I envy your 2nd Buzz; you may not need a Sting. I tried my Buzz at 2000 grit and it covered medium to medium-heavy easily. HOrnet is necessary for light oil. Reactions all depend on your hand/release/ball speed specs.

The Buzz may be THE Lanemasters "Secret of the Ages."  It seems to react to surface and drilling changes like few balls have before. Given its mild mannered core, this is all the more amazing.

the main thing i love about the buzz is the low flare core doesnt flare up like crazy with my hand and over react or not do a thing... i threw my buzz last week on the shark and it didnt want to make the turn thats why i wanted the sting. the hornet for the dry shots, want a ball with atleast some core in it and a good lane masters cover.

The Sting should work there, but also a sanded Buzz shoud also work. I tried one surface, as indicated above, a 2000 grit. Depending on your hand and ball speed, you may need less or more surface.

The Buzz IMO is exactly as Jeff says a huge sleeper.  I'm seriously thinking what lsf_21 is considering in that I love The Buzz that much figuring the Sting with the great reviews it has gotten from BJI and BTM plus users on this site.

The Buzz is just so dang readable carries the world and tells you what you need to do lane wise that the plethora of balls out there cover up.  Also, is so nice to make release/hand changes to make it do different things.  Love symmetrical cores and the LM/M Evolution Pearl cover.
