Black Pearl - First League Night
« on: January 15, 2007, 11:47:04 AM »
First, thanks to Charlest and good timing.  Had the BP plugged and re-drilled pin approx 1 inch under ring, CG rotated right.  Pin to PAP 4.5", CG to PAP 3.25".  PAP is approx 5" over and .5" up.  Surface is close to OOB I'm told.  Practice game on a THS was a 278 yesterday.  (Threw it right and watched it bounce back to the pocket).

In league tonight at a different center (more oil) first game was 156, moving around trying to find a line but I was really overthrowing the ball.  Second game stood on 20, targeting @ 8 board, slower speed, not helping the ball, tossed eight in a row for a 245.  Second game fewer in a row but as consistant, ended 240.  First part of the lane was a nice easy move with a strong arc at the end through the pocket.

Looking forward to trying it at my Friday night house!

That's my story for today, fwiw.

Very nice, Chris, congratulations.
You're making good use of the ball!
