Arsenal Help?
« on: January 15, 2007, 02:46:23 PM »
Ok i am loving the Lanemaster balls that i own right now so i am going to be selling my Robo Rule, Hawgzilla, and Black Widow so i can build a strictly L/Lm arsenal.

So far i own a Big Bang drilled 4x4, and a absolute power that is drilled pin under ring finger that i bought used from someone, not the drill i prefer for that ball but it is going to be replaced once i get my buzz drilled that i already have, i am going to get it drilled 5x5. So it will take the place of my Absolute Power, When L/LM come out with the new ball to be put in place of the gap between strait flush, and Buzz and AP, etc. I will be purchasing that as well for my light oil ball. So i need your input on what else i need, I am wanting something that will be a step ahead of my Big bang in oil handling capabilities i believe that is all i need. Any L/LM ball except the Terminator because my friend owns one and i don't want to get the same ball as him, although that is the one i would have chose.

So any responses on what is a step higher, I was interested in the Yeah Baby, The New Standerd2, And the one most interested in, The World Class Particle. I would like to know from your experiences one which is stronger in oil, and in control.

Heres my Lineup so far

Heavy-????? waiting on input
Med Heavy- Big Bang at 1200
Medium-Buzz
Light- Their new release due in some months to come.
Spare- Roto spare tire

Any info on any gaps present, i don't really see any but, your guy's knowledge would be nice. Thanks

Oh and on the Hevay oil ball, lets say if i were to drill it the same as my Big Bang 4x4, which would be stronger.

As far as I know, the only LM/L ball "stronger" than the Big Bang is the World Class and then it's earlier and smoother to give a better "LOOK" on heavy oil. It usually does not handle more oil, UNLESS you sand it from its stock 800 grit to a lower 600 grit (or even lower, 400 grit).

I have not tried a Terminator on heavy oil. It would need to be sanded (since it comes polished) to handle as much or maybe more oil than the Big Bang or the WC. So I can't say that it would handle more oil.

Maybe someone else has already compared a WC/BB to a sanded Termminator?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Layout:
3 3/4" PIN. Pin drilled out at ring finger.
CG northeast of thumb about 1 1/2 " away.
XH 1" below PAP.

Review:
This ball with this layout is really strong off the breakpoint, but not flippy. The pin punishing power of this ball is unbelievable. The ball reads early so find some head oil and let it go. This ball works well for me on a variety of oil volumes. A light scuff will get this ball going sooner. The cover tunes easily so do not be afraid to make an adjustment. As of this review, this ball has the most overall hook potential in the L/LM line.
