Sting Widow Maker Pushed Back Indefinately?!..

My pro shop just informed me that the Sting Widow Maker has been shelved for the time being.. If was my intent to pick the (SWM) up in October, and the Black Diamond Particle Pearl in December.. So due to the Sting being pushed back, does that mean the BDPP is also pushed back?..

You can still get a Black Pearl. I don''t see how it would be any different than the BDPP, other than it has a different name. There are plenty of them available.

I don't know that for sure. But I suspect it will be. We know the core is the same. And the original Black Pearl was a particle.

The new terminator is pretty much the old terminator, so it stands to reason they will be very close.

The original Black Pearl is the best ball I have ever used.

Is there anyone else with concrete info on either when to expect the (SWM), or whether or not the BDPP is roughly a re-badged Black Pearl?..

I also have one on order.  I was told by my Pro shop that excessive orders for the Resurrection have pushed back production of the SWM til Dec.  There was no mention of NO delivery.

Regardless of reason this is extremely disappointing!.. You can directly contribute L/M lack of growth to such disappointments.. As a business owner, The worst thing you can do is not meet deadlines..

Don't get me wrong.. L/M makes the best balls on the market.. But the business end can stand for a great deal of improvement...

Buddies just posted that the Lane Masters Sting Widow Maker Bowling Ball - WWRD is 12/8/10. So I assume they've been notified by Lanemasters that this is the date the ball can be expected to be in their hands.

Called L/M yesterday inquiring about (TSW)... I was told to expect it to be released in a week, to a week in a half at most.. I'll keep you posted..

So buddies proshop has info on the (SWM) including pics and release date.. But the official L/M website doesn't so much as mention it's existence!?.. Come on Lane Masters...
