Yeah Baby..
« on: October 30, 2007, 06:44:40 AM »
My Monday night scratch league has been a nightmare trying to find the right ball to use on a heavy oil/carry down condition where the trach area is toast and the middle has heavy oil with the days' rec bowlers on it all day and no, we don't get oil just before league starts.

Used my YB and was able to play inside all night with great carry. I'd all but forgot about this ball and happened to run across it while cleaning out my garage.

I really love mine.  A light polish because it's so strong out of the box, but with the heavy particle load, it virtually ignores carrydown.

I like mine more and more every time I use it.  400 wetsand is great for a lot of the PBA patterns.  Early and even the whole way.  I tried 360 Abralon and Bean's Sauce for my THS league.  It was clean up front but still rolled very heavy with great continuation and hit.  Shot 759 Wednesday with that cover prep.  It won't come out of my arsenal for awhile.

I really have to thank Charlest for keeping a NIB 16lb in his basement, must have known I would need it.

After four years off and some old habits this ball has saved my butt more than a few times.

This ball is pretty versatile for me, it gets good length for a particle, it responds well to release changes.  It carries extremely well and really rips up the rack when it gets to the pocket.

I mainly use this ball on synthetic anvilanes that have been bowled on, have the heads double oiled, and a decent amount of carrydown formed.  I try not to put it away but sometimes it's just too strong of a ball.  Maybe I should listen to it just a little more.

BowlingBallMall.com, Pat and AnneMarie Duggan's place has them (I'm about 95% certain). Talk to Pat; he's a great guy.

Very honest appraisal, Anthony.
I bowl with him and he's doing very well with it. Now if he can only get in a few practice sessions, his average would go up another 10 - 15 pins and then we'd give 200 pins handicap to every team ...
