Big Hurt Mini Ball Review
« on: April 26, 2013, 10:30:04 AM »
Patterns used on: THS and WTBA Paris, WTBA Atlanta, and WTBA London

I drilled this ball up using the Motion Hole layout. The dual angles ended up being 95 x 4.5 x 55. This ball was very smooth through the front part of the lane and read the mid lanes well. What really separated this ball from others is the angularity and continuation I got from this ball in the backend. I have never had a solid ball be this angular in the backend. The continuation was quite amazing as well. This ball never faded in the pocket and always had continuation through the pin deck. This ball really handled the Long and Medium WTBA patterns well. This ball takes to coverstock changes well. I have been able to change the cover up or down and always saw good results. To me this is the best Lord Field ball yet. LF always leaves me wondering "What's Next" well it is going to be pretty hard to top this.

It's not on their web site.
Where can information be found on this ball?

The Big Hurt is in my opinion the best release to date by Lord Field. Big Hurt has is mixes the strenghts of The Korrupt and Judgement. Stronger in Mid Lane than the Judgement and stronger and more angular than the Korrupt.

The "Big Hurt" is one mean bowling ball, bowled a tourney this past weekend but it was way, way too strong.  Left a record (for me) 5 straight solid 9-pin leaves and 11 over a 3+ game span(I'm a right-handed stroker/tweener).  The ball shows now quit even tried to get deeper, but that seemed to upset the "Big Hurt" and it wanted to hit even harder.   It's quite an awesome piece from Lord Field.

Thanks for the report Earl! I have our Pro Shop Seed Ball coming in next week. Can't wait to drill it up. How did it compare to your othersolid cover high end performance LF pieces? (i.e; Korrupt, Higgs, Iron, Nasty?) Thanks!

Post some video's LF staffers!  People want to see LF actual ball comparisons.
