The center is a 24 lane house. It has a good amount of league bowlers. It sounds like 1 of the #1 problems that you guys have said is the rent/lease agreements. Lucky for me the owner of the bowling alley is paying for EVERYTHING, so i have no rent no lease, she buys inventory, drill machine, and everything that I need. And in return she gets some of the profits and i get a split of the profits, a salary and she gave me 100% control over everything. I totally agree about the old adage of listening to the customer cause they are #1 so that is definitely what i would do. The shop is located in Lowell, Indiana and actually there has never been a pro shop in Lowell and no there will be 2 of them. The one inside the bowling alley and another right down the road but which is a freestanding shop. I definitely don't see how a freestanding shop could make it in this town especially when all of the bowlers already know me and my reputation is really good at the bowling alley. Thanks to all so far and any more comments/suggestions from owners/customers is greatly appreciated!!!!!!
