*SURVEY* Optional Brackets and/or Side Pots During League
« on: August 23, 2010, 07:56:51 AM »
I am interested in learning what types of brackets and/or side pots are run during league play around the country.

First I am curious as to what kind of league do you bowl in. 5-man scratch league with 20 teams? 3-person mixed handicap? House pattern, sport pattern?

If there are brackets, how are they ran? The typical 3-game, 8-man, $5 bracket with first paying $25, second $10? Are there cheaper brackets, say $3? More expensive $10 brackets? How many are ran a night typically?

What about high game pots? Mystery (random) doubles? Any other options?

What is the attitude toward the opportunity of "gambling" in these types of side options? Does everyone like to play? Same 10 people every week?

If you do not have any of these options, do you wish you did?

Thanks in advance. Looking for any thoughts or ideas!
