10 or 11 Pound ball, Please help!!
« on: April 09, 2004, 10:21:50 PM »
I was wondering what a good 10 or 11 pound ball would be. It's for my 7 year old. I know the weight blocks are alot different in the low weights, but I'm trying to find a decent block in 10 or 11 pounds. thanks.

I think the Hammer lineup retains similar core charistics to the larger balls, and storm also makes their x-factor and duece, in a smaller 10-11lb size.  Check it out www.bowlersparadise.com has them listed with the specs, give it a look.

Edit: most of the storm balls come in "light" check one of them out for the kid.

She bowls in a kids league and uses a k-mart special 8# now. A girl in that league has a 10 pound Ebonite. She used it a for a few frames yesterday and did alot better. She has more control and it goes straighter for her when she uses a heavier ball, plus alot more pin action. she struck out the rest of the game when using the 10# ball.
