Hi, im currently throwing 16 lb stuff right now i 6'1" 145 lbs after bowling is over im notice some swelling of the thumb and a blister on the back of the nuckle, should i consider thowing 15lb equiptment instead ?

No. Your gripping the ball which is causing that blister on your hand. Have the proshop you had your ball drilled at check your grip to make sure its okay. I know this because after years of not checking my thumb problems like yours I ended up with a life long calaus on my thumb that grosses out alot of people. It is not a normal thing to happen on your thumb. GET IT CHECKED OUT ASAP!! Wish I would have, but, now its too late and it will cost me a few hundred to get it removed and a month off from bowling. Not to mention the cost of having all my bowling balls plugged and redrilled. Still thinking about having it removed as it might help my release get smoother.
