1st night back after being out for 6 weeks...
« on: April 10, 2010, 02:26:51 AM »
Last night was my 1st night back after being out for 6 weeks dealing with Vertigo, which sent me to the hospital via ambulance.  I proceed to throw the front 7 and shoot 255(one open frame), then shoot 238(clean) and conclude with 217(also clean) for a 710 series.  Not to shabby considering I still don't have complete balance back yet.

Vertigo is not a fun ailment to deal with..................

Congrats on the good series Pat, sorry to hear about your vertigo.  I myself have been out for the last 5 weeks with an infection in a disc in my back.  Looks like I have another 5-6 weeks before they will even think about letting back on the lanes.  Hope I have as much success as you.  Not trying to hijack your thread just understand what it is like to be laid up.

Keep up the good bowling.

Welcome back to the bowling world and great shooting. My sister has a moderate case of Vertigo and gets woozy from the most random things.  Thankfully, she's been good to go lately. Good luck with your recovery.

Pat, if you don't mind me asking, what brought on the Vertigo?

Don,

I had a double ear infection(I was on anti-biotics for 3 weeks). Normally when I have issues with me ears it's pretty epic(pain-wise). Thankfully I only get them every 8-10 years, but when they hit they are pretty severe. Never experienced both at the same, though.

Thanks for your concern,
