Finally, after almost making it numerous times, I finally got my 800 series last thursday night!

  First game I choke in the tenth frame and shoot 289. "Great" I think, "choked again".

  Then I start striking again and shoot 256. A teammate says to me that I "only" need 255 for 800. I told him that it was so unlikely that if I made it, I would take the team out for stek dinners after the year was over.

  Then, I start striking again. X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-7/-X9/=267! 812!

  Now, if I can just figure out how to pay for 6 steak dinners. HMMMMMM
