Arson Low Flare replacement
« on: July 24, 2017, 04:47:48 PM »
I used to have a 14lb Hammer Arson Low Flare drilled pin up slightly above and in the middle of my fingers.  It had their max-control pearl cover and was 2.50RG and .020 diff.

I gave the ball to my son and had it re-drilled for him.  Unfortunately I'm bowling in a tough house and my current arsenal isn't working out.  I'm thinking I want my Arson Low Flare back because it just might solve my problems there.

What do you think would be a good substitute currently on the market for the Arson Low Flare???  It doesn't have to be Hammer or Storm product.

In the bag:  900 Global Zen, Hy Road Pearl, Astro Physix.

It is hard to find low diff and low RG balls so your son will get over it.  Finally filled in that hole in my arsenal as well but had to go urethane to do it (old Faball Burgundy Hammer).  But the Arson will handle significantly more conditions.  Hang on to that gem.

If you decide you want something new, look at the Motiv Venom Cobra. Weaker cover than the Shock, but still has some pop like the Arson Low Flare.
