Why do we purchase these high dollar balls and get them drilled weak?  I have been asking myself this question for years now and I cant find anwer...

Because we all love hook monsters but want to be able to use them on a THS, lol.

 It may have to deal with the fact that some bowlers tend to think that mid to low price equipment will not render the same outcome as upper to high priced equipment

What is weak? Is it not drilling a ball for a specific reaction? Is their a specific layout or pin placement that is considered weak? Years ago that was over label, now we know that can be anything for anyone depending on their pap. Most of my equipment has 5-6" pin to pap prior to drilling. It all hooks more then plentry for me with the desired reaction I was looking for. Should all hook monsters be drilled with 4" pins in hopes of maximum hook? That for most people would make the ball useless on the majority of the conditions, or in many cases any conditions they ball on.
