  Whats does this term mean?? "...to belly the ball"

It's an older term for standing left(if your right handed) and swinging the ball to the right, making a hook pattern similar to a belly. Hope this helps.

Well actually, "swinging the ball" and "bellying the ball" are not quite the same thing. When a stroker or a tweener "belly's' the ball, they actually "slide" the ball to a right angle on a dry lane as to delay the hook, but not a straight down and in shot, but throwing out to the right without necessarily "bending" the shape of the ball.
