What is the best ball cleaning product you use legal or illegal...

I would have to say Black Magic products work best for me...

Me too. I guess we just have the correct method to actually make it work. I will use Lane Masters cleaner from time to time.

Clean n Dull doesn't work on any of my equipment over the year...  Black Magic product give me the constant reaction each time I use them but its hard find a ProShop that has that stuff...

I hit my ball every week with wet dry paper if I have time. If not, like pike says 50/50 simple green and water. When I do have time to hit them I use the final finish I intend to keep on that particular ball. This is the way that works for me.

I use PJ's Tacky Snap for cleaning the ball after use on a daily base.  I also like Clean and Tacky but don't care much for Clean and Dull.

Motiv Power Gel and Clean n Dull are the two I mainly used. Black Magic Rejuvenator and Remedy RX are also good stuff.

i was never a big fan of keeping my balls clean *giggles*

until recently i got back to bowling, i have been very diligent and clean my ball after every throw with a cloth (non bowling company produced) with windex sprayed on it.

To boot, my windows and mirrors at home are cleaner then ever.

Why would you use Windex ?

Are you doing this process during league ????

Ugh....

Windex isnt made for cleaning bowling balls.

Unless I missed that on the back of the bottle for intended uses.

Why not get an approved cleaner from your Pro Shop ?

I'm a cheater because every so often I use acetone.  I normally use diluted simple green, but occassionally it just won't get off stubborn belt marks and such.  Acetone takes anything off.

@spinboy. Well i see your point. From your angle its kinda like im pouring cooking oil into the fuel tank of my car. How i came to take the calculated risk to use windex was when my cousin had a bottle of power house cleaner. I opened it checked it out. It looks like windex , smells like windex. And i tried it on my windows and mirrors. So. . . Like i said. . Calculated risk i am willing to take. If the ball cleaner smelled like poop, looks like poop water, i would take a dump and mix it with water and use that as my bowling ball cleaner.serious. Ha ha.
