Bowlers Paradise - Paragon discontinued not shipping!

Ordered one of the Paragons that Bowlers Paradise put on sale Friday. Finalized the order and paid for it thru paypal. Bank statement reflects the charge out of the bank. Now today I get an email stating that the item cannot be shipped. I called Bowlers Paradise and they told me I would get a refund as the ball had been discontinued. When I ordered there were still balls available. I am glad that I am getting a refund, I also feel that I got the short end of the deal, considering they showed plenty when I ordered. For those of you that just ordered one, I hope you get yours. Also during the conversation, I was asked if I had only ordered one, when I replied yes, the rep told me they were discontinued. I asked why did it show these in stock if they didn't have any...response: They are discontinued! Good luck.

The corner gas stations can now advertise $.99/gallon for gas and simply claim, "The tanks are dry.  Please come back tomorrow.".

Considering the fact that people were buying cases after I had purchased my one, I think this is pretty crappy!

I agree T, When i purchased mine it said they were still available, in fact the 13# i got my daughter still shows as being available, now I have not gotten that letter from them yet, but I have not gotten fedex number either, so I am assuming that my order did not get processed, although the 13# prolly will

On a side note, the rep never even asked me if there was something else he could do for me. Never offered me anything for the problem!

its not really that big of a deal to me, but I would be very interested to see the order numbers of those who got balls shipped vs those of us getting letters from them.

I was lucky enough to get one and received a notice of the FEDEX shipment.

I also ordered a paragon in 13lbs for my girlfriend on friday I'm anxious to see what will happen with it. I also ordered a seek and destroy, it was one order but I haven't heard a word.

Is this issue only coming up with the Paragon or does it apply to the Archon, Seek $ Destroy, etc? I was tempted to get one but reasoned that I don't really need another ball (no, really, I dont lol)
