Bowlers Paradise - Paragon discontinued not shipping!

Ordered one of the Paragons that Bowlers Paradise put on sale Friday. Finalized the order and paid for it thru paypal. Bank statement reflects the charge out of the bank. Now today I get an email stating that the item cannot be shipped. I called Bowlers Paradise and they told me I would get a refund as the ball had been discontinued. When I ordered there were still balls available. I am glad that I am getting a refund, I also feel that I got the short end of the deal, considering they showed plenty when I ordered. For those of you that just ordered one, I hope you get yours. Also during the conversation, I was asked if I had only ordered one, when I replied yes, the rep told me they were discontinued. I asked why did it show these in stock if they didn't have any...response: They are discontinued! Good luck.

The  whole problem is from some shops, ordering cases of these to make a profit.

Again, as seen in another topic:

I got mine, I'm making a point for those who werent fortunate to see this within the 12 hour window it was available.

Whenever something crazy like this comes up, there is always someone who goes overboard and ruins it for everyone else.

Look at christmas time with the bowlingball.com gift certificate offer, and the person that decided to ruin it.

It happens, think about the community when this type of deal comes up, instead of being greedy and nailing down 5 cases.

A lot of people wanted a ravage since it was disco'd, it would have been nice to see the entire community get a fair share, instead of a quick cash grab.

Just received a response to my order inquiry and both my balls are shipping, a 13 lb paragon and a 15 lb spare ball.

Order number 11262079 is being shipped out via FedEx this afternoon and the tracking number is 102050031129642.
Order number 11262112 is also being shipped out via FedEx this afternoon with tracking number 102050031129703.
Please allow 12-24 hours for FedEx to upload the tracking numbers from today into their system. Have a wonderful day!

F*** YOU.  Some who only ordered 1 got screwed the same way; the # of balls has nothing to do with it.  There wasn't a limit on how many an individual could buy.  I'm not gonna say "hey, i want 4, but wait, maybe that stops 2 other people from getting 1 or 2 so I will only get 1".  If i wanted to get that many, I could get that many.  You just sound mad you didn't get any also.

It sucks for those who didn't get any.  It also sucks that in two weeks we'll be seeing these pop up all over here and ebay with markups in the $150-200 shipped range because of "how rare it is".  In the end, in today's day of free commerce, and internet shopping, you can't tell people how to spend their money.  There was no limit placed on these, so if you're going to be made at anyone, be mad at bowlers paradise for not regulating their sale a bit better.

Oh yeah, I will not be getting either ball.  I need another ball like I need another hole in my head.
