The purpose of this thread is 2 list all the bowling myths....



List your bowling myths...



 



1st myth -- You aren't guaranteed to shot a 300 with new ball your purchase reguardless of how much you paid or even like the ball...  The more you pay for a ball doesnt increase your odds...



 



2nd - There is no such thing as a ten pin house reguardless -- You hit 10 you get 10

 1- waiting for the bowler on either side of you to finish up the split that they just left.                                      2 - the end pairs are the worst pairs of lanes             3- dont talk to anyone on a string

The lane man screwed up with the oiling (today, this week, this tournament, insert time frame here).

If I had a dollar for everytime somebody said something along the lines of "who oiled the lanes today" or "you trying to shut (enter hand person bowls with) out tonight" or "lane man sucks tonight"

We put oil in the machine with some cleaner, set the same program every night and push the go button.... Totally the lane mans fault.

I won't disagree that they play a little bit different, but the man pushing the button on the machine is the last person to blame.
