Trust me Zanatos, I feel your pain! At the beginning of our season we had the same issues. The house had just bought a brand new Kegel machine. Problem was, no one knew how to program it properly. The "experienced" lane guy just ran it the same way he ran the old machine, bringing with him the same old bad habits he'd always had. Every week I was lugging in six balls to league play,because you never knew what extreme conditions you might get. After much complaining, they finally figured out that they were only running the machine at 2/3 of it's capacity....meaning they were skipping some steps.
Half-way thru the season, the shot became much more consistent, and playable. As others have said above, tighten up your line, play straighter, and use a more controllable ball. As Charlest said, I would go with a ball with a little more surface, and not so much snap on the backend.
