BR2006 - Update
« on: December 25, 2005, 04:58:03 AM »
Here's the latest. Thought I would try and consolidate everything down and find it in one place.  If I've missed your name, let me know.  I'll try and keep this updated as the year goes along.

Ball Reviews / Bowl 4 Fun.com gathering July 21-23

Here is a Yahoo map of where Creekside Lanes is located.
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=1450+trademart+blvd&csz=winston+salem%2Cnc&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

Creekside Lanes
1450 Trademart Blvd.
Winston Salem, NC 27127

My email address if you need more info:
rclifton@triad.rr.com

The hotel I suggest is Extended Stay America. It is clean and cheap!
Use the Winston Salem / Hanes Mall location.
You can find it on www.extendedstayamerica.com for a map. It just one exit from the bowling center.

New Year's Bump.  Looking forward to it already.  Don't go back to work until the 6th.  Will put my vacation request in first thing.

My wife and I have both put down for vacation during the gathering.  Now, if we can just get up enough money, we will be there.

I'm definitely bringing the camera this year.  I think it will be a good time to start a scrap book with pictures and names.

This is going to be awesome!

Just got an e-mail from Ritchie.  He will be able to attend this years gathering.  A good possibility that Rudyrevs may be able to make it.  List just keeps getting longer and better.

Geez, with all these good bowlers showing up, I might as well use a house ball since I'll look like the hack I am anyways....

Just added a couple of more names to the gathering.  Billy Sewell and his father will be there this year.  Billy hopes to defend his title.

Say hello to a new member, Wilbert.  He is also looking forward to meeting some of the fine folks here at ballreviews at this years gathering.

I spoke with David Garber from Storm today and he will try to make it again this year if he can.

You guys make sure you remember our sponsors when you get ready to buy new equipment.

Bowl great!

The wife and I are starting to do some serious planning to attend and we're currently researching lodging.  There seem to be a number of choices in the area, and I was wondering what makes the Extended Stay hotel a better choice than say, the Holiday Inn Express?  I do like the studio apartment type set-up; I've stayed in Studio 6's before.  Is there a discount for attendees, or is this just a nicer choice?   Are there areas we should stay away from?  What's the general consensus?
