BTM subscription worthwhile?
« on: November 11, 2022, 03:27:04 PM »
I'm thinking of maybe subscribing to BTM, mainly for help in improving my physical game, but not sure if it's worth it or not.  Do you subscribe to BTM, and if so, did you find it helpful and worthwhile?

Great site. I really like to read their ball reviews and they have some really good articles to go through. Been a subscriber for 5 years or so.

Yep, I think so. Good ball reviews and great articles about the game. It's also very reasonably priced,

For good physical game articles BTM is good.  Their ball reviews are all over the place and not reliable.  Read how they test and review balls and layouts to understand better. Also many manufacturers do not send test balls of anything lower end so you may not find any ball reviews on balls like the Hustle line, etc.

I would recommend. I have subscribed since the paper issues. Well worth it.

🤔  I'm going to lean ever so slightly towards yes. Most of the instructional articles provide solid information.  The ball reviews are of course subjective, and maybe of more use to a beginning and intermediate bowler.  The reviews are at least written in layman's terms so.that you d on't need a good understanding of everything to get something out of them.  Like I said though the reviews are subjective.  They are more useful to the beginning and intermediate bowler.

If fancy yourself as a high rolling advanced amateur, or potential pro. The reviews probably won't be of as much use to you.  Anyway I am going to lean towards yes.

Hi Bowlers - I am a Definite YES!  I have been a BTM subscriber since the beginning.  I have a hard copy of all earlier publications.  I use the BTM reviews as a baseline review document and compare it to BR comments.  These comparisons allow me to see more about what a ball will do.Next, the articles are great readings!   It is a nominal cost to be a subscriber.  My thoughts!  Coach Denny O'Neill Gold Level ABE
