Have 2 of them. 1 pin up above my ring finger about 3 inches so I can get the ball to miss the entire front and middle part of the lane then loop around the back end when the lanes are toasty and dont want a sideways reaction, and the other is pin under my middle finger, which is generally my bench mark ball for the THS in my area. It is really smooth and controllable.
