Fun Thread: Where Are They Now? PBA Pros

Where are they now?

Thought I'd throw this out there for you guys...
I was looking for some old PBA tapes at home, btw, if you guys have any that would you like to get rid of, you know who to message! Hehe...Anyways, I always wondered what happened to some of the PRO's who made it on the show only once or twice...

Jimmy Keeth - Won the Tums Classic in 93 I think?
Scott Devers -Lefty who had a very unorthodox swing that swung around his back
Harry Sullins - Righty who had a very cupped wrist then uncorked the ball
Jess Stayrook - PBA champion (Loved watching him saw on that ball)
Bob Belmont - Righty who made the show a bunch in the early 90's - mid 90's
Joe Firpo - Admired his game while I was a Junior Bowler
Mark Mosaybei - Remember him making some telecasts in the late 90's
John O'Drobinak - Saw him on a 1989 telecast. Pretty smooth righty
Will think of more!

Go ahead and add to the list. I tried looking for some of these guys on Bowl.Com
I think Harry Sullins is averaging around 220's somewhere...Any updates on any of these guys?

Have Fun!

I see him all the time practicing, staying in fighting trim, at local lanes in NJ; he also bowls in a few PBA regional and senior tournaments. He also was in the US Open.

Dave Ferarro: with his brother Steve run a real nice center in Kingston, NY called Mid-City Lanes. They have a big tournament there every year, in January pays like $6000 to win. How does Dave bowl. Still well over 240 and looks like he could easily go out on tour. One real good golfer too.

Joe Hutchenson: still lives in PA but comes up to upper NY to bowl in some Tournaments. Still has that strange lofting style and when the conditions are tough, he is one of the best.

Gus Lampo: lives in Onenta, NY and runs his own sweeper tournament between southern & upstate NY. The shots in his tournaments are really hard. The last tournament here at the Bowlers Club where the Tour was the winner averaged 197 for 6 games.

And what about my all time favorite name.

Leroy Bornhop!

John Denton (won a couple of times in the 70's and early 80's) still bowls in SSASBA tournaments here in Texas)

Saw Chris Warren a couple of years ago here in Ft. Worth bowling pot games in the afternoon.  Any more word on him?

No, Guppy Troup still hits the bottle, although it doesn't have much to do with his personality. He's pretty much the same sober or soused. He doesn’t dress that crazy for league as he does for tourneys. I think he does that to get in opponents heads; he has a great match play record.

Ken McNeely runs a pro shop in Morganton, NC.

Chris Warren - lives somewhere in the Seattle area - has a new baby boy, about 8 months old - so his tournament time is somewhat limited.

Steve Cook - has a bowling distributing business in the sacramento Area.

Mal Acosta - last I saw him, he was living and bowling somewhere around Salem Oregon. Been a while since I've seen him, though.

Mark Baker earned a commissioners exemption spot to one of the Tour Stops in Southern California this year.

Maybe a local bowler from So Cal. can confirm this, but I think he runs Cal Bowling Supply.

Good to hear some of these guys are still throwing the rock...
