Fun Thread: Where Are They Now? PBA Pros

Where are they now?

Thought I'd throw this out there for you guys...
I was looking for some old PBA tapes at home, btw, if you guys have any that would you like to get rid of, you know who to message! Hehe...Anyways, I always wondered what happened to some of the PRO's who made it on the show only once or twice...

Jimmy Keeth - Won the Tums Classic in 93 I think?
Scott Devers -Lefty who had a very unorthodox swing that swung around his back
Harry Sullins - Righty who had a very cupped wrist then uncorked the ball
Jess Stayrook - PBA champion (Loved watching him saw on that ball)
Bob Belmont - Righty who made the show a bunch in the early 90's - mid 90's
Joe Firpo - Admired his game while I was a Junior Bowler
Mark Mosaybei - Remember him making some telecasts in the late 90's
John O'Drobinak - Saw him on a 1989 telecast. Pretty smooth righty
Will think of more!

Go ahead and add to the list. I tried looking for some of these guys on Bowl.Com
I think Harry Sullins is averaging around 220's somewhere...Any updates on any of these guys?

Have Fun!

Bones...wow the equation. My dad talks about Salvino, Hardwick, & the other legends alot. I think Bowker still uses that style...

Branham is a Pepsi Delivery guy? - Wow. Loved watching that guy bowl. Good to see him and Odom break the color barrier on T.V..

Hoskins in Insurance? - Hehe, guess we have something in common since I work in Insurance myself. Miss seeing that guy on T.V.

Keeth - Still sending messengers across the deck with the fireball? Wow, that's cool. Please tell him there are people out in T.V. that still wonder where he is!

Thanks for the info guys! Keep it coming? Does anyone else bowl with Former Tourning Pros at home during league?

what about that guy whose swing pushed out and then went out sideways and then came back down..best way I can describe that anyways.

I think his name was Roy Williams.

Cristofori! Awesome, thanks for the link! Congrats on the win too hehe...

Handley was cool, loved the way he cupped the ball and kinda crept to the line...

Chazman...you're close. It was Ron Williams and he went on a tear for awhile around 92-94. Won the King of the hill and defended it for like 3 or 4 shows...Wonder what ever happened to him?

Thanks! Knew it was something like that. He was a monster for those couple of year, but then I never saw him again.

Ramtart, not sure, but I think Ron Williams is running a pro shop in Texas, maybe around Dallas.  Corey would know.

Bob Handley is winning on sr. tour!

Last I saw him I thought he was a rep for one of the wholesale companies in Fla.
Nice gut!

Had the experience of having Jimmy Keeth revving on a league team I was on.
We picked up a lot of cash together.  He tolerated me!  I have almost enough revs to be on the alleys with him, but not really(about 300 rpm).

He has been tested occassionally at Kegel and consistently can test out as the top revver in the world with over 700rpms.  Far outpacing maximum Bob on tour today.

I would guess he bowls usually at near 600 rpm something to see with ball resting on his forearm.  21 nph hook ball.  Last I heard he used one ball.
Oil dry medium.  Savage flip!

The best of the old tour stars I've gotten to see around is Dave Davis.
Still such a classic fast ball pitcher with plenty of revs and flawless form.

He almost looks like he could win on tour today and if not 60 very close!

Best style in the world even today!

Ron Williams lives in Ft Worth, has a very succesful pro shop, still looks like he's 25, and bowls 2 leagues a week,...he's only averaging about 240+,...and he's my doubles partner in the Senior All Star Bowling Assoc. over/under tournaments,...he can still play.

Also Del Ballard has recently gone into the bowling pro shop business,..he and Carolyn have a new pro shop on the other side of Ft Worth,..we are sourrounded by greatness. jim

I see Dave Husted every week. He bowls a bunch here locally. He manages his dad's center in Milwaukie, Oregon, and runs the proshop, coaches the high school team, etc.

He is one of the nicest guys ever. I'm proud to say I know him. Awesome bowler, too - smooth, stroker, but what power!
