If you could only choose one to build an arsenal with, which one would you choose and why?

I think you should just use multiple companies. Its not like either one is sponsoring you. i have a ball from all the major companies and working on getting one from the smaller ones like morich and possibly a visionary. I like to have everything for all kinds of lanes. I just got a roto grip, havn't thrown it cause its a dry lane ball and havn't got on those conditons. Really I like all of my equipment and people might say one hits harder then the other but full honesty if you bowl 12mph then your not going to be "hitting the pins like a truck" as some would say. But each of my balls are different and I know when I like to use them on certain lanes so really company doesn't matter, all of them are very good, just some match up with your game and lanes better then others. Out of the two listed I like Hammer more but thats cause I like the big backend reactions they give, but thats just me.

Storm is a little flippy for me on the back ends compared to Hammers equipment.  I do know that Storm has addressed this issue and have made some bowling balls that are more smooth in reaction.  I still prefer Hammer.

Hammer has unique reaction from a lot of their equipment.  The Black Widow and No Mercy have what I call a cross reaction.  It's a cross between flip and arc.  To me this offers a very controllable but strong move on the back end.  I just bought a Hammer Blue Vibe and it too has the strong arcish type of back end reaction which is easy to control and read.

I also really like Hammer's mid-priced and low end equipment.  The Raw Hammer series and the Vibes are awesome.  I would put these pieces up against any top end bowling balls on the market.

When it comes down to it, i've bowled better games and won more money using Hammer equipment.  I'm not against using another company's equipment(except brunswick) but choose Hammer because that's where i've had the most success.

Storm because of their variety of balls.

Storm wouldn't be bad at all, they cover every condition and then do it again, there is a lot of overlap in there equipment but it offers a good variety.

I personally prefer the Hammer stuff but I see no advantage either way really as each company has a ball to work on most if not all conditions.

An if this counts, I think limiting yourself to one company is a very idiotic move unless of course your college forces you to or you are on staff.

Honestly, i love both. Certain conditions tend to like storm balls a little more for me, and some like hammer balls a little more. I have found that on the shark pattern my t road solid, and special agent roll better than my black widow. also, on the Viper pattern, my black widow shines where as my T road doesnt roll as well.
