High Tracker/Drill Layouts
« on: January 29, 2008, 01:15:55 PM »
Hey just had a quick quesiton.  As a high tracker, are there certain layouts to use?  I've heard that high trackers' balls don't break until later on down the lane.  So should there be an earlier roll drill on it?  Thanks for all responces.

Actually, it is just the opposite.  Most high trackers get an earlier roll, so they will go with higher and/or longer pin positions to promote length.  If a bowler tracks very high, then pins above the finger line are needed to keep the track off of the fingers and/or thumb.  There are exceptions of course.  I used to track incredibly high but I still liked using low pins even though I would thump my middle finger hole.
